For [personal profile] jekesta...

Who asked: "Are matchmakers people who make things out of matches?"

I don't know if he calls himself a 'Matchmaker' or not, but I went looking for such a person for you, just now, and found this fellow.

[Eta: my favorite is this one, for sheer "Bwa-ha-ha!" factor]

OH I LOVE THE BONSAI HOUSE. I love it. I love things made out of matchsticks, I love them, his gallery was a bit awesome, I love the paddle steamer because OH GOD. Why doesn't everyone live on a paddle steamer???? I hate the world.

The paddle boat reminds me of that piece you did for NaArMaMo, one year (the first one, or the second one?) with a carnival/fair on a riverboat. That was, and is, quite a bit Win.

That was the first year, I think I didn't draw it awfully well, but I still am a bit in love with the idea of a paddle boat with a fair instead of a casino on it. SWING BOATS ON A BOAT MAKES ME VERY HAPPY:)

Indeed. I think you drew it just fine, but then again #1, I didn't have any idea in my head to compare it to.

And then again #2, it's the spirit of Happy that really counts. Any machine can draw perfect lines. But perfect lines are dead as dead.
