Yay! I even got to go to a party. It was an early Christmas dinner but I liked to think of it as a Mayan/Solstice celebration since it was on the right date.

I could write a post about how problematic the deliberate misunderstanding of other culture's myths in the name of sensationalism is. I am so tired of the mystical-prophetic view of non-Western.
