So, I updated my desktop wallpaper
This is my main image. I just thought I'd share:

Text based art: a dark green field divided diagonally by an arcing spray of stylized leaves. The text, which appears on either side of this divide, reads: “A tree will fall in the forest, and the forest will hear.” Two larger leaves, each shaped like one half of a heart, come after the period.

Please do! After all, the Rainbow Pride flag only got recognized as "official" after Gilbert Baker (may he be remembered fondly) just decided to make the first one and brought it to the San Fransisco Gay Pride Parade in 1978.
Unfortunately, Disabled people don't have a Pride Parade day (yet), so we have to "Fly our flag in public" in other ways -- such as online.
If so, what do I owe you?
Tell people about the symbolism, and why it matters.

The leaf design is so simple and looks so good. I like the variegated greens.

Thanks. In a bout of recent homesickness, I found a found a photo of summer woods near where I grew up as a child, to use as my log-in screen image.
And, in a technique I picked up during NaArMaMo, I used MS Paint's color-picking eyedropper to snag ten colors from the photo and saved it as a palette, to use in the future. That's where all the colors in this picture came from.

I might not participate, this year. I deleted my LiveJournal account when the last of its servers migrated to Moscow, and LJ's TOS is now based on Russian law, with all the anti-LGBTQ restrictions that go along with that. :-/
However -- Perhaps I could take part via Tumblr, in a meme-like way.
I'll think about it.
