Yes, it's 4 am. It's also only been cool enough to think since 2 am.

So I didn't want to waste the first time I've felt alert all day by going to sleep. I will go to sleep right after this post, though.

Because it's been so hot, and my computer is so old, I turned off my computer and tried to do something unplugged with my time.

And lo! I drew things:

Story monster 1
ballpoint pen drawing of a monster with a vaguely human shaped torso, arms, and legs, with a long neck, large bird head, and dragon's tail.

Story monster 2
ballpoint pen drawing of a dumpy-shaped shaggy monster with big eyes, big nose, and a pair of erect, spiraling horns.

I may be asking for name suggestions in the not too distant future...

The first one is my inner self except that I'd have a shorter beak and horns. The second one is more like what I look like on the outside, heh: HAIR! :-)

They're so happy and lovable! I like your pen-and-ink drawings.

Happy things! You know, I would love my sister's (currently theoretical) children to have a book illustrated in this way, with the main thrust being acceptance and so forth. Get them on the anti-ableism train nice and early.
