When I was finishing up NaNoWriMo, I got these verses stuck in my head:

Song what has been stuck in my head, since Wednesday )

Trying to order stuff online for Christmas decorations (I know, I know. Some may consider me incredibly tardy in this regard, but I just couldn't decide what I wanted to do until about the day before yesterday*). And, not only is finding all the bits and pieces in one place (so I can get it all with one shipping charge) turning out to be nigh impossible, but (and get this, it has even me going o_O) --

Whenever I do find something, in every shop where I find stuff that I like, whenever I go to checkout, I get the "Page cannot be displayed" error message...

Can you say "aAAaarrGGgghhHH!!!" boys and girls?

I knew you could!

*I want to put lights on the insides of my windows, so the dark corners of the house can be lit up, a bit, and the neighbors can enjoy them, too. I was thinking I'd take Styroform[tm] wreath forms and wrapping them in strings of those little twinkle lights, and hanging them from extra curtain rods in my windows; the windows in the front of my house are four panes across, and I was thinking of hanging one "light wreath" in each half, for a total of four across the front of the house.

It seems pretty reasonable that I'd find crafting wreath forms and strings of lights in the same place, right? But Noooo... apparently not.

{ETA: does anyone, besides I, find the new LJ "Happy Hollidays" banner far to cluttered and busy looking?]
