Feb. 28th, 2006 07:00 pmAnd in discovering that this game is my favorite of the bunch, I discovered some other things about myself:
- I prefer games where the balance is tilted in favor of judgment over quick reflexes.
- I really like games that give me changing patterns to play with, where I can just react to what I see or hear without having to figure things out logically, too much.
- Sound is uber important --
jekesta recommended Simon, and I would love the game to pieces, if it weren't for the buzzing sound it makes when you hit a wrong button. That jars me right out of playfullness. If it were a quiet ping!, I could play that game for hours. - The spirit of the game's scenerio is important, to. I can enjoy games with shoot em' ups and mole whackings, but not as much as games that are about gentle playfulness.
- There should be a number 5, I think, but I don't know what it is.
