End of year meme (From everybody)
Dec. 6th, 2006 12:10 pmThe rules: post the first sentance you wrote each month in your LJ.
Note: Has this year really been as sucky as I remember it? Let's find out (of course, all the bad news could have come toward the middle or end of each month):
December: In my last post, I made reference to my "Official Elf Name." (just for the record, my Dad's obit is in the next paragraph...
November: "I snagged a NaNo first-timer into the fray, and she's reported to me that she's having fun! Yay, her!" (She won, by the way, so Yay her again)
October: "This subject line is borrowed from a caption on one of
calapine's icons."
September: "I'm still rolling up a moderately steep learning curve with my new computer, so I haven't put all my naarts in the proper reply places for the last week, yet."
August: "Oh, hush! I did, too wait until after midnight (just barely, though)!" (note:
naarmamo For The Win!!!)
July: "(random thoughts which just happen to include a community rec --
calapine started it, and it is shiny with black and white goodness)"
June: "(I was going to post this yesterday, but I couldn't get to the web pages about it; I guess a whole passel of people had the same idea.)"
May: "I received an odd compliment at the most recent Art Garden."
April: "Damn Merc Retro, and the Horse he rode in on (LJ's "restored draft" saved nothing except a single < , and it was a long post, too)!"
March: "I'm sitting at my computer, right now, and looking out my office window, and there's a wild bunny sitting in my yard!!"
February: "It started before we discovered Dad's cancer -- probably around Christmas -- though worry about him certainly isn't helping." (that one's Friends-locked)
January: "Auld Lang Syne is on the radio."
