I really was. Not that I was looking forward to actually going outside, 'cause it's cold outside, this time of year. But I do have several south-facing windows that promised possibly good views -- and it was clear and sunny all day.
But, around 9 pm, I looked out the window and saw a sky thickly and totally blanketed by clouds.*
Part of me felt cheated. Part of me felt relieved, 'cause I didn't have to feel guilty for having missed it.
*When you live in a suburban area, with street lights, btw, a cloudy sky is lighter than a clear one, because the clouds reflect all the lights back at you. ... Have I ever said, here, how nervous and uncomfortable street lights make me feel? I know they're installed with the intention of making mefeel safe. But, they have opposite psychological effect...
Just saying...
