(This is a follow-up to this post. I finally found the information on the WHRO TV website.
This is now my new PBS Saturday night line-up, as printed in the online scheduling chart, starting March 29, 2008:
...I'm not sure what they mean by "Minis," except, perhaps (dare I hope?), that they'll be in original episodic format (Could it be the station heads actually think the movie compilation format is the default, based on what they've seen from other PBS stations?). At least it will be Oldschool, even if it's not at teatime.
But that bit of oddness, and the misspelling of Blackadder, just kinda goes to show how perochial they are (or have been) regarding what I consider the standards of culture...
At least I'll get some more laughs on Saturday night, now. "Keeping up Appearances" and "Last of the Summer Wine" was just getting painful to watch.
