Thanks to all who've answered my poll. I changed the wording around a bit, to make the spacing look better. I'm keeping the blank one, too. I may make a few more versions with different captions.

You know, as antlered deer age, their horns gain a new prong each year. I wonder if that will happen with this little guy, or if the fusing of the horn buds will prevent that...
