Two months without a motorized chair.

Okay. This coming Sunday (February 11th), it will have been exactly two months since my old motorized chair bit the dust, and it's getting damned old.
It's not just that I'm slower in the manual chair, or, because of my spasticity, I have to stop every few pushes on the wheels to scoot myself back in my seat. It's that the seat of my manual chair is at least an inch (maybe even two inches) lower than the seat of my motorized chair. One or two inches may not sound like a lot. And it's really not, when talking about people's height when they're walking down the street. But those of you who've worked desk jobs know what a big difference one or two inches can make if your desk chair is that much too low, when it comes to being able to type comfortably, or write in a notebook.
Now imagine if you're two inches too low for everything you do, all day long. I'm finding it mentally wearing. Especially since it has come at a time, thanks to my father's death, that I have a whole lot of vitally important papers I have to take care of, and I'm finding it literally that much harder to "stay on top of everything." Even after charging my old motorized chair, I could always feel the psychological boost when I regained those two inches after just one day ... two months of this has been wearing on my mind like the steady drip of water on a stone. Two inches, if they are critical two inches, may as well be two feet.
I don't really have a point, I guess, except to get that off my chest.
