A - Act your age? Depends on the situation. I try to act my age when dealing with strangers on the phone, paying bills, dealing with frustrations, and the like, but I'd rather watch kids' Saturday morning cartoons than C-Span.
B - Born on what day of the week? Sunday
C - Chore you hate? Getting mail to and from the mailbox
D - Dad's name? Lincoln Clark
E - Essential makeup item? None
F - Favorite actor? Errr... I dunno. I don't really follow who's who... My Favorite Shakespeare play, however, is Much Ado About Nothing -- the only play he wrote entirely in prose....
G - Gold or silver? Depends on what it goes with, and the context. I like gold with warm colors, and silver with cool colors -- mostly. Some of the time, I like to switch that around. I don't wear jewelry, though... but I do sometimes decorate clothes with gold or silver paint
H - Hometown? Currently living in Chesapeake; did most of my growing up (from nearly 8, to nearly 34 years old) outside Cold Spring, NY -- many of my dreams are still set around my childhood home.
I - Instruments you play? Does "voice" count? I enjoy singing, even if I only do it for myself, and I have trouble hitting some notes.
J - Job title Um, I'm not sure. I'm on Disability insurance, so technically, I'm unemployed, but to keep my soul sane, I write. So I guess you could call me a "Writer," even if I don't get paid enough for it to be considered more than a hobby...
K - Kids? Don't live with any, but I prefer their company to grown-ups (See A)
L - Living arrangements? 1 human, 2 cats in a house.
M - Mum's name? Angela Pomeroy (pronouced: Pum-roy)... she was known by her middle name, until she left her family to live on her own.
N - Number of people you've slept with? I don't suppose camping out on the living room floor at a pre-teen slumber party counts, does it? >;-)
O - Overnight hospital stays? 4 or 5, I think... I was pretty young for the first operations....
P - Phobia? Walking on crutches past a flight of stairs going down... also wheeling my chair down a narrow, high, sidewalk, especially when it's noticibly slanted toward the street (pedestrians may not notice this, but it's fairly common... it's so the rain drains off, but I always feel like I could lose control on the steeper ones -- even in a motor chair).
Q - Quote you like?
And this our life, exempt from public haunt,
Finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones and good in everything.
William Shakespeare --As You Like It act II, scene i
R - Religious affiliation? Neo-Pagan
S - Siblings? None -- well (if he's still alive), I have a half brother that was born and given up for adoption before I was born.
T - Time you wake up? It varies. Usually between 8:30 and 9:00 am
U - Unique habit? I laugh when I stressed (and when I'm not).
V - Vegetable you refuse to eat? "Refuse" is such a strong word... but no matter what's done with them, olives just don't taste "right" to me...
W - Worst habit? Forgetting to brush my teeth, some mornings...
X - X-rays you've had? Too many to count -- all legs (see H)
Y - Yummy food you make? Dark Chocolate and cream cheese pie.
Z - Zodiac Sign? Capricorn
B - Born on what day of the week? Sunday
