Non-spoilery review of Heroes
May. 7th, 2007 10:08 pmWell, true to the genre, they're certainly making it seem like Our Heroes are up against Impossible Odds...
...I bet they do end up saving the world, though, in spite of it all. Because if they don't, it will go down in history as one of the greatest rip-offs in television fiction.
Oh, and speaking of rip-offs, has NBC lost all faith in its 10pm Monday Night Timeslot? They gave up on Studio 60, and replaced it with a family crime drama, (name excapes me at the moment). Then, they gave up on that even quicker (like, what, after three episodes?). Now, they're showing something called "The Real Wedding Crashers," where brides and grooms are paid to sabatage their own weddings, and humiliate their family and guests... Gutter trawling, anyone? Sheesh!

Date: 2007-05-08 03:48 pm (UTC)Which is really a shame, since Studio 60 was actually doing better than the Neilson ratings were showing... Would have been nice, if, after Black Donnellys was cancelled, NBC aired the Studio 60 episodes that were already in the can...
But, oh well....
