naarmamo '07 is swallowing my August whole

First, there's the time it takes to make the daily na'art.

Then, there's uploading it to the comm.

Then, there's going through and looking at everyone else's na'arts, and oohing and aahing, and laughing, and deciding if I want to comment, or if everything I want to say has already been said (you should totally check it out-- there are so many good artists there, there are no words).

Then, there's going back to see if anyone posted comments on my na'art, and replying to those comments...

Then, there's refreshing the page, to see who has posted stuff after I did... and, yeah.

I'd better get in the habit of getting up early, this month....


Anyway, here is what I did, today (I'm linking to the whole thread of comments because my explaination is in there, in case you want to read it).

Which just goes to show that what you take away from an artwork often depends on what you brought with you. :)

Well, Eloise is a troll. And in Scandinavian folklore they often have ambiguous relationships with humans, and play the role of challenging a human's honesty or integrity.

So you are not far off...

I almost nominated naarmamo for an lj spotlight (on the homepage), last night/this morning, but then it asked if LJ had permission from the maintainer to use images from the comm on the page, and I didn't know. So I thought I'd ask.
