I can hardly believe August is almost over. This makes me a little bit sad.
Anyway, some of you want to see every pic I did last week, and some of you only want to see my favorite picture. So I will split the difference.
Here's a link to all seven pictures, together. If you want me to talk about any of them, just ask in comments.
And here's my favorite one:

He's my favorite for two reasons.
First, I love the subject of this portrait. He has no name besides "Hedgehog." He was a Christmas present, the year I was two (1966), and I still remember some of my crib conversations with him. What looks like whiskers, now, is actually the yarn that held on his button nose before he met my puppy, Cotton. He's roughly the size of an adult sleeping cat, btw, so he's very huggable.
Second, I'm proud of this picture because, although I drew it in MSPaint, like all my other na'arts this year, I actually drew this by direct observation, rather than making up his shapes from memory and imagination.
I made his nose too long, however (I should have paid more attention to the check pattern, and used that to measure), so I shortened it, proportionally, when I made this icon here (which is now my official "warm fuzzies" icon).
So -- yes. Love.
