I want to buy a basic set of dominoes...
Jul. 3rd, 2008 11:36 pmA basic "Double Six" set. There are a plethera of such sets online for just a couple bucks each. But I really don't want to spend $2 on a product, and $5 on shipping, ya know?
So I was hoping that I could pick a set up at the grocery store, and I could just add it to my regular purchases, but no such luck (hey, it's not as wierd as it may sound -- they sell crossword books and the like, and I've seen a "Games" aisle somewhere -- though that may have been the Food Lion, instead of Farm Fresh).
So-- where do they sell dominoes? I know they're still being made and sold, but where can you find them?
Hmmm....

Date: 2008-07-04 05:32 am (UTC)I think there's an "Everything for a dollar" store in the Mall. Audrey wants to go see "Handcock," one of these days. Maybe I'll check one of the hobby shops or game shops there, when/if we go.
I think a good basic set of dominoes is a worthy way to spend the $5 I got for doing the Art Garden (not enough to drive to the bank, to deposit...).
