GIP. Icon # Eight - Zero! Whoo! (i guess)

Inspired by the migraine I had this weekend. I think I will use this whenever I feel that life is a slog through the mud, either physically, emotionally, or both.

Windows XP has an annoying feature of automatically dithering all text shown on LCD computer screens, because the technology makes it possible, and I have found no way to turn it off.

So I made all the letters in this icon "from scratch," using MSPaint's elipse and straight line tool. I made the serifs, period, and mud drips using the large and medium round paint brush/marker tool.


I like how it turned out.

My migraine is gone, btw. It lasted from Friday morning until Sunday night. I feel better, but now somewhat jet-lagged.

There's the puppy you want. Well, that turns off on-screen antialising, at least. The dithering thing may be an MS Paint "feature".

Okay, thanks. I'll fiddle around with it later today (or sometime when I'm fairly sure that my frustration thermostat will remain at a low setting)

Though now that I've made a few letters using elipses and lines, I wonder if I can make an entire alphabet.

...It's now lodged in my head as a potential "fun project" ... that's a scary thought.
