I can hear them. I can see some of them if I crane my neck at the right angle and look out my kitchen window.

I know there is probably a crowd watching somewhere. But I can't get my mind to imagine it.

One post I'm hoping to make today is why I've (psychologically, if not yet practically) shifted my celebratory eneergies onto the "New Year" instead of Christmas or solstice, or Divali, or....

And it's arbitrariness has something to do with it. :-)
