capri0mniWhy did I sign up this year, when there's the Art Garden again, after being two years on hiatus?
Ack!
Okay, okay. I can do this. I've done it three times before, and "won" even though my plot ground to a halt and I just repeated myself (Idea-wise) after 2000 words.
Fourth time's a charm, right?
If I come up with ten chapters, give each chapter 5 "acts" and make each "Act" 1,000 words each, then I could have more of an engine to push me from one conflict to another, and maybe my story won't get stalled out before my protagonist is out the door.
Right?
Right!
In fact, maybe I'll just forget the wordcount goal, this year, and give myself my own goal checking off my list of "Things that have to happen."
I can always go back and pad the wordcount at the end...
