An un-poll poll: "Shameless Alligator"

Object of discussion: Shirt (or mug, or mousepad, or whatever) with a picture of an alligator, and the words "Shameless Alligator," in fat hand-lettering.

Question -- Should I also add the word "Agitator"?

Either as:

A) "Shameless Alligator Agitator," or
B) with "Alligator" struck out, as if fixing a typo, or
C) Not include "Agitator" at all?

I've got everything drawn and inked, except "Agitator." and I need to make a decision before I scan it.

[Edited to add: I both Version B ("Shameless Proofread") and Version C ("Shameless In-Joke"); the in-joke one takes up less space (natch), so it's better for small items, like refrigerator magnets and trucker hats. I've got a trucker hat ready for posting for sale, but I'm stumped as to what to do for a description. So I'll post it tomorrow, after sleep.]

I wouldn't put agitator on it at all. I'd explain where the idea comes from in the description, but I just don't think it needs to be part of the design.

I think some people will like the idea of a shameless alligator just as it is, regardless of where it comes from.

Right... And there may be some 'old fogies,' like me*, who would remember the original association...

And it just now dawned on me that I could actually scan all three versions, if I do it in steps, and decide after I see it colored in...

*kind of spooky to realize that what I'm remembering is, technically, well over a generation ago. :-/

I count my generations in 20 years, so it's actually closer to two gens. Also, no agitator.

So far, I have one vote for C, one vote for B (at LJ), and one "both."

So I think I'll do "both."

Neat! I agree that it's a matter of personal preference, so it's good that you can provide the option.

Well, both versions are now inked and scanned... Now "all" (ha!) that needs doing is cleaning them up and coloring. And I do that on the computer, so I can do it in fading light, better than I can sketch / outline. ... I really need good daylight for that bit.
