Date: 2012-02-08 03:49 pm (UTC)I mostly knew it was a dream, because my mother was in it (she died 20+ years ago) and the room I was trying to sleep in was a mash-up of my current bedroom, a hotel room, and the living room of my childhood home.
Just as, in the dream, I was in bed and ready to fall asleep, there was a lamp on, on the desk at the foot of my bed that was shining in my eyes, and I was informed it was impossible to turn off. That's when I realized I'd been dreaming, and the reason the lamp couldn't be turned off was because it was the rising sun shining through my real-world window.
After that, I woke up fully, and in that minute the clock radio turned on...
Grr.
I really like cloudy mornings.
