You know, according to Isidore of Seville's Monster Categories Scorecard, a person with horns (or humps or warts, or any other Sticky-out or Pointy Thing*) is automatically a monster. So if you ever run into someone dressed as a seventh century Cleric, that's one detail about yourself you might want to keep off the "small talk" list.

As for the hair: Probably because my relationship with my own feet is so patchy and uncertain (since my top half and bottom half have communication difficulties), I have the hardest time deciding what I want for my monster's hind ends. That first monster went about a half dozen poses and species' feet before I settled on what you see there. And I was about to go down the same route with the second monster. Then, the trickster part of my brain came up with a solution.

*which could be how "warty-nosed witches" became such a strong visual meme
