hooray! We are underway! A loose doodle of a little bit of everything,
to get myself warmed up...

*Not sure, yet, how to put posted images under a cut, via DreamWidth's new email picture-posting, which will eventually become their own version of a scrapbook... so I will edit as soon after posting as I can...

Also, just realized I have to make this public, if I want folks in [livejournal.com profile] naarmamo to be able to see it...

ETA (cross-posted from my comment on [livejournal.com profile] naarmamo): Okay, I can see the picture in both my journal and here, but others are telling me they cannot. I could see it immediately on Google Chrome, but I could not see it in either place on AOL (Internet Explorer) -- until I logged into my LiveJournal account, on AOL. Which just strikes me as strange.

In the meantime, I'll use Flick'r... give me a moment...

Okay, here it is on Flick'r: Can you see this?

It's not showing here either. Don't know if this is my problem or yours so we will have to wait for other comments.

My browser says there's an image there (but my dial-up's too slow to load it and ? I think it's wider than my screen anyway ? although that's just my 'puter and the image does seem to be there).

Could this be one of the url addresses that the Internet has run out of?

It seems entirely possible. Or perhaps I am slightly out of phase with the rest of the universe...

I like this! My favorite is the dragon/bird/dinosaur on the left.

Ooh, patterns. And little people. I approve.

I might be unofficially participating in NaArMaMo – we will see if I can get over my own shyness about my (in)ability with drawn images.

Oh, getting over shyness is a big part of the attraction for me. Maybe I would doodle more if I thought said images would amuse someone else, eh?

Right now I have an image of Urooà looking very crabby about his disproportionately short leg.

I can see it best on flickr. Thank you for the link. Somewhat surprisingly, I like the stick men best. :-)

I love it! It reminds me or Aboriginal art, and would look stunning on a large plate.

A display plate on a stand! Do you have pottery painting places near you? I've done it a couple of times on holiday and it's great fun. They supply the blanks (forget the correct name) and the glazes, and they fire them for you afterwards.

Here are the ones I did I did in the Bay of Islands. It's hard judging how the glazes will come out, but B&W would work beautifully.

See both, like them very much.

I have intricate weird structures/surface textures I doodle in meetings and such — seems like that would be an OK thing to add to the mix?

I do love the aesthetic of art within a circle like that. Very Celtic. :)
