Got that writerly itch, but...
Dec. 11th, 2002 06:01 pmI know I want to write something... I just don't know what. It's like an itch on my back I just can't quite reach.
Which is where my friends come in :-) I know at least three of you are familiar with my fictive friend Eloise... I'm thinking of writing a little Yuletide story (double drabble length, or so) featuring her... but what?
So here's a riddle for all of you: Which of the Doctor's eight regenerations do you think she met up with, and befriended, first?
Just wondering...

Date: 2002-12-11 09:17 pm (UTC)I have to admit my Who-fiction writing has pretty much ground to a halt... I just don't have the stories... it's been over 18 months at *least* since I wrote anything Who-related, not including Hoedown installments.
So, Shall I get the back scratcher?
Date: 2002-12-12 08:17 am (UTC)Actually, Hoedown installments are the only Who-related stuff I've written, apart from one poor attempt at redoing the 5/6 regeneration story (I thought the idea of the Doctor being truly mad was an interesting one, but the conflict it set up was never resolved, and so soured the rest of his tv tenure).
So -- what do we do about it? Anything? I feel I Ought to write something about the new Timelord in Eloise's life, in order to get to know him better before the next Hoedown (or masked ball, or cotillion?). But now that his driving quest is complete, he and I are at a bit of a loose end, and don't know where to start... So I thought a "Backdoor" story might be a way to warm up...
Hence: Which Doctor did Eloise meet first?
Well? ;-)
