For an extra challenge, name a thing that made you smile for as many senses as you have, or can think of.
Sound: "(There Ought to be a) Moonlight Saving Time" by the High Hatters (1931); YouTube.
Sight: Pictures of the peacock pheasant
Taste: dressing shredded cabbage in Italian salad dressing (oil & vinegar based), covering and zapping in the microwave until softened (about 5 minutes in a 700-watt oven), and mixing in plain, "Greek"-style yogurt.
Touch: Petting my kitty, of course!
Smell: stirring a spoonful of natural cocoa powder into hot water before adding coffee and milk, and getting a real, good, whiff as the cocoa blooms.

Date: 2020-03-14 02:37 pm (UTC)Touch: holding a coworkers squirmy puppy dog yesterday.
Hearing: catching up to Black Clover and hearing the current intro. Its like... Japanese jazz rock fusion. So good. 🎤🎹🎸

Date: 2020-03-16 12:31 am (UTC)Sound: My upstairs neighbour's three-year-old howling creative remixes of the ABC song.
Sight: A shiny mankey I caught in Pokemon Go.
Taste: Genuinely a difficult choice. A tie between the landjaegers my wife brought home for me, and the kabocha mousse I treated myself to on friday. It was like the fanciest pie filling.
Touch: Fresh pyjamas after a shower, and recently-changed bedsheets. A good night.
Smell: Coming home after a long walk; just the smell of home.

Date: 2020-03-16 07:58 am (UTC)Sight: My youngest cat, not yet a year old, doing her "croquet hoop impression" when she stretches her back into an arch and walks away in that shape before she finishes stretching!
Taste: Baked buttercup pumpkin, which is just coming into season and becoming cheaper. I like buttercups better than grey Crown pumpkins; when they bake, the flesh dries out a little and becomes crumbly and sweet, and the skins are perfectly edible.
Touch: The freshly clipped hair on the back of my head. I always get a mood boost from cutting my hair short.
Smell: Basil from my garden, smelling strong and spicy on my fingers after I've picked it.
