I have updated my friends list. If you've been cut, it's probably because, after a long period of reading your journal, I realize I've not commented for a long time, if ever, on what you have said. It was just getting to the point where I had to keep clicking [previous 20] just to keep up with one day's entry. And that's a bit much...

I've also added pedanther (the pro-fun trolls on my f'list may recognize the nickname), but he's vowed never to add anything to his journal... he's just hanging around so he can leave comments, and take polls, I presume. We'll see how long that lasts. >;-)

There is a legend in, if I'm recalling correctly, Greek myth, about a god who gave to one of his favourite daughters two gifts: the first was chastity, and the second was the assurance that she could give up the first gift any time she liked without anything bad happening. She remained chaste her entire life, which is pretty much what he'd intended to happen.
