The saddest thing about Chris Eccleston's decision is how quickly the mood on my friends list changed once it became public.

One moment, I'm basking in the warm glow of squeeful joy, the next moment, I'm sinking under the weight of "Oh, woes are we!"

Until this afternoon, I didn't know if there'd be any more Doctor Who after this 13-episode season was over. I had my fingers and toes crossed, sure. But I was trying not to get my expectations up too high, and to put as much energy as I could into enjoying what we have, now.

So -- can we please go back to the squeeing? It was ever so much more fun.

actually, that mood icon (chosen for 'disappointed') overstates it a bit... I'm not that depressed... just *meh*-ish

My mood icons get messed up when I post to communities. Re: my post to [livejournal.com profile] welovenewdrwho-- I crossposted to my own journal, where the mood icon is much funnier.

I'm still squeeing. I haven't even seen the thing yet. ^^;

yeah, I thought that "zoom-zoom" was cute

changed mine, now, too... I think it's a better fit.

Whenever you post to a community, you get icon set chosen for that journal, not your own.

I love the zoomy icon. I think it's 'rushed' in the set, but it looks like the little kittyballoon is panicked and bewildered inside a very small room. ^^

Interestingly enough, your change of icon also suggests dissatisfaction with small spaces. Hee.

The voice of reason. You will lead us, now.

That would work so much better if people noticed me long enough to follow...

You're definitely a ringleader on this one... of course, when faced with a choice between calm-and-rational or angry-and-loud, mobs tend to take the latter. It's easier. It's not you, it's the mentality.

Isn't there a saying that the IQ of a mob is the IQ of the least intelligent member divided by the number of members?

PS. Squee!

Which is why, when I see a large crowd, I tend to move in the opposite direction.

this is also why I probably won't read any more Harry Potter books until after the series is finished, even though I loved the first book...even intangible crowds make me slightly nervous.
