Quite true. Nearly all the choices had to do with fighting, or making money in business, and I have little interest in either. And all of these are seen in their Hollywood "Warrior" aspects. There was a question on which kind of house was best of four, and I picked the RV (Camper), because it was the closest to the TARDIS...

In actuallity, I'm probably closest to "Cowboy" -- not the movie kind -- the real kind, who rides on a horse, and just communes telepathically with about a hundred cattle, and a dog. One maternal uncle was a cowboy. The other was a training rider for thouroghbred racing. ... I have a photo somewhere, of my mother kissing a cow...

Haven't really given it any thought since last time we discussed it. (If I recall correctly, we'd got as far as me thinking I ought to be able to set up a message board pretty easily if that's what we decided to do.)

That's what I remember, too... Don't know if Igenlode could participate in a message story, though.

Doing it as an email list might work, but that would make it more of a moderated story than a free-for-all.

Even if I could access the newsgroup easily, I'm not sure there's enough traffic there for a critical mass of participants to get a plot moving...

Okay... narm00 announced on ADWC that the Hoedown might be coming back, but we're not sure which format, ISTR that Igenlode expressed concern about being able to participate via the Web... but I might have misunderstood.

I interpreted that as being more a concern about web-based chat than about message forums... but I might have misunderstood, too. Either way, I suppose the best thing would be for one of us to actually ask Igenlode. :)
