First, the Good: I got a good start on that story for Michael's birthday, yay! And, [livejournal.com profile] jekesta, I've got a good idea for your apple drabble, too. I shall sit down to write it tonight, when the President Shrub is on TV telling us how wonderfully well the war in Iraq is going. This will be a good an excellent reason to ignore him.

Next, the Blah: [livejournal.com profile] gordon_r_d, I tried to link to that picture of the tee-shirt you posted, and my Norton Anti-Virus started giving me dire warnings about trojan horse viruses, and asked if I wanted to delete the files. After I was given the all clear, and I logged off and on again, I noticed all bookmarks for my favorite places were gone. It will take a while to hunt them down and bring them home again, but, as many were links I haven't visited in ages, so it may just be what I needed to have a good clear-out. But I thought you should know.

And, finally, the Silly:

In solitaire: If there's a choice of cards to move I move the one which is on the biggest pile yes. And I don't put cards out unless they'll uncover another card, or mean another card can be put out, because you need to keep the cards in play so other cards can go onto them.

And I play with the vegas rules on and cumulative scoring but no timing. And my cards usually have clouds on them.

::dances you an apple drabble dance::

ZOMG! You are so much more thorough than I in your Solitaire thinking!

:::Is impressed:::

I don't usually do timing, but for some of the cards, it causes them to be animated, and that is fun, yes... so I do that, sometimes, when I'm playing no-score.

I use Solitaire as a coin flip, too. Mostly red cards face-up = heads; mostly black = tails.

I noticed something weird with that t-shirt link as well. After I clicked on it, anytime I went to a site, I could see it connecting to that other site as well. I emptied my cookies and cache and that went away, but I should probably run spyware and a virus scan as well. I'm glad you mentioned it.

Ok, that doesn't sound good at all, will remove link from the post, just to make sure. FWIW, Avast didn't pick anything up it's a reputable site so I don't know what's up with that.

Norton Security was having trouble quarantining it, and deleting it... something about not having the correct definition. So that could be why Avast didn't pick anything up.... Maybe the site got infected from somewhere else?

I dunno... :::Shrug:::

No idea what's up with the t-shirt page. Avast didn't pick anything up and Firefox had no problems with it. It's not a dodgy site either, it's the people who make the Half-Life games, so I dunno what's happening there. :( on losing your bookmarks though, kind of feel responsile. Sorry.

Don't sweat it. Unless you wrote the virus, you are not responsible!
