You really think so?

capriuni is intense.
You're no-nonsense, to the point, working all the time, looking to die an early death in a bathroom somewhere when your body finally gives out. Way to go.
brought to you by interim32. wanna know your lj's moodring color? enter your user name and hit the button. (discussion thread)

Is this 'cause I don't do many memes?

(grabbed from [livejournal.com profile] elementalmuse, btw)

You are many things, but 'intense,' especially as defined here, is not one of them. 'Focused,' more like. :)

If you think I'm "focused", then you obviously haven't seen my computer desk... or my library desk, or the card table... or....

ahem. Yes.

But an LJ reading spiderbot would probably not pick that up. I do tend to write in long sentances, with polysyllabic words (erm... like "polysyllabic"). And I do tend to get passionate about esoteric things.

I think of myself as more philosophical -- the subtitle of this journal fits -- I see myself as following ideas down the trails of my mind, way into the depths, where they peter out into little footpaths for raccoons, and get lost in the underbrush. That might look like Sherlock Holmes with his magnifying glasss to some, but what they don't realize is, I'm actually cracking jokes with a ladybug...

I wonder if I can change the mood ring by inserting the words "cute" "cuddly" at random on these pages ;-)

For what it's worth, my understanding (having read the "how it works" explanation) is that it only pays attention to your "Current mood" tags.

(And if you enter the username of a livejournal with not many mood tags, like mine, it gets hurtfully sarcastic.)

(No, I take that back: having poked around and seen some of the other possible responses, it appears it's *always* hurtfully sarcastic. It doesn't seem to be possible to get a positive result.)

Hmf! Yeah, after I checked out some other LJ's I know, I figured out the mood tag thing.

One reason why I could get this response is that in the LJ system, "Creative," "Artistic" and "Accomplished" are all under the subheading of "Working" (I just made my own images for them), and I've been posting a lot of my creative projects, lately.

...But overall, I think my most common mood tag is "Thoughtful." I'd expect it to complain that I'm living in a fantasy world, and I should get to work.

(yeah, I figured out that it relies on mood tags when I gave it [livejournal.com profile] jekesta's username... if she's "emotionally distant," then I'm a flying purple people eater!
