Dear Mister President: Pthlpthlpthlpth!!!
Sep. 16th, 2005 12:30 amDid anyone else find it extremely insulting that Bush did his national address in front of that church in New Orleans?
If there had been a live audience of local workers, or reporters there, I might've felt differently. But as it is, he was just using that setting as a stage set.
Par for the course, really.

Date: 2005-09-16 07:05 am (UTC)And the sad thing is, the White House made a big deal all week about the President "visiting New Orleans this week for his national address," as if he were actually doing something about the disaster.
Frankly, I couldn't bear to listen to the whole speach... at this point, I find the very sound of his voice repulsive. So, after a while, I switched channels and watched an old "Diagnosis Murder" instead. I feel no guilt over this.

Is that real, or a spoof? It's almost too good to be real...
He thinks he needs a bathroom break? He needs advice on that, too?
