Okay -- taken the plunge!

I've signed up for NaNoWriMo. And I even have an idea of the story I want to write -- Go Me!!

I tried to write it as a short story, once, long, long ago -- that time when I was going for my Master's, but trying to fit that idea into 2,000 words was like trying to fit an elephant into a lunch box.

Now, I'll let go of everything I remember about it but the final image I was aiming for (a dream image from 20 years ago), and see if I can get there through a different maze.

I had this crazy idea that one year maybe 50 (or 25) of us could "sign up" unofficially and each do 1,000 or 2,000 words, to see where it goes.
