I don't know how many oportunities I'll have to use this one. But it was inspired by my comment here, and is in honor of my mother, who became a newspaper reporter late in her life, and took great pride in the ideals and nitty-gritty work of the job.

Er... is there a reason that "Pres" is spelled with only one s?
It took me a couple of seconds to realise you weren't ill-wishing the Shrub.

The reason is very simple -- "press" wouldn't fit, and be large enough to read.

But you make a good point; I'd forgotten that 'pres' is short for 'president'. I will try to fix it. .. maybe I can fit it with all lowercase letters, or maybe I can do without the e...

Oh, and this is my anti-Shrub Icon (technically, he's George III, but our first George wanted no part in dynasties).

Couldn't you just make the press card wider?

(I've come across people who do refer to him as George III, despite the first George being unrelated, because it allows rhetorical flourishes like "Once before, our country rose against the tyranny of George III; time to do it again".)

Well, for aesthetic reasons, I didn't want to make the block of white too big, but, as you can see, I fixed it with a compromise, and departed from right angles.

And yeah... the George III irony did occur to me, but in my mind, Shrub doesn't deserve to be in the same class as Washington...
