Dreams again.

capri0mniYou know how sometimes, it's hard to tell whether you're having one dream with wildly shifting scenes, or lots of little dreams, of one-scene vignettes (dream 'skits,' maybe)? Yeah. Well that happened to me, this morning.
In one dream skit, I was at a Doctor Who con type thing, and there were ten tiny trained monkeys all in a row, like miniture capuchins, that were meant to represent the ten Doctors. They weren't doing their act, yet, but waiting.... and while they were waiting, they were passing a cigarette lighter down the line, and sniffing and poking at it the way monkeys will. ... I wasn't sure how safe that was, and I was pretty sure the act was going to be cheesey.
Also, there was a gameshow type event (real gameshow, with official rules, not just an amusement for the con), and I was picked out of the audience, and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ravenevermore was picked to be my partner. I was a bit concerned over whether either of us would be disqualified, because we had met, before, and as I told the host, ravenevermore had been the best man at my wedding... Funny thing was, that even my 'self' in the dream hadn't been married yet (but I wasn't lying, either).
Then, there were other scenes (skits) that are too compicated to describe, but involved me and a driver/friend, driving down a mountain road that had been washed out in a storm.
Then, there was a scene where I had to find a mysterious woman, and contact her by email, so I had to call up an operator over the phone, and have her dictate the number to me while I wrote it down. And it was one of those old-fashioned compuserve-type addresses, too -- random numbers and letters. And the fun thing? In dreams, written words don't stay put. They keep changing every time you look at them.
...It was like trying to catch a minnow out of a stream with my bare fingers.
