Just a thought:
Dec. 24th, 2004 08:00 pmBeen trying to write that song, based on that essay I reposted here, yesterday... Not getting very far with it, but it's got me thinking:
The neat thing about writing songs is: you can get away with a lot more sentimentality than you can in almost any other form of writing, barring love letters, and maybe greeting cards, without seeming completely Over-the-Top.
Oh, and I've been meaning to do this for a while, but keep forgetting:
Welcome to my F'List,
brassfire and
heronheart. I know
brassfire from the Mudcat Discussion Forum (the site is down, now; Bah! and Boo!);
heronheart just showed up in my info page as someone who had friended me the other day. I looked at his userinfo, and he seemed like a reasonably sane fellow, who seems interesting, so I friended him back.
I'm always curious, though, when strangers friend me: how'd you find my LJ? was it through reading a friends flist page, or did you do a search of interests? huh? Tell Me!!
