The first sentance I posted to LJ each month in 2005, linked back to the whole post for your (and my) convenience.*
January: Happy last day of Yuletide; Back to the mirth icon tomorrow.
February: Been fiddling with my LJ Because my mind doesn't feel like "Ann F. M's Journal."
March: Mostly making a post to bring up March on my calender... For the record, it's living up to the proverb.
April: I woke up this morning, convinced it was Saturday, and couldn't understand why they were talking about business on the radio, instead of living with pets.
May: This last Saturday was the 42nd Art Garden (and yes, when the MC announced that, my mind did flash to HHGttG, thankyouverymuch -- what did you expect? ;-)).
June: A while back, it occured to me that one big reason I wanted to be in love was simply because I wanted the deep and true inspiration to write a love song. (this one is Friends-Locked)
July: There's been much discussion on my F'List lately, about the powers and virtues of fan fiction and this whole issue of copyright.
August: I wonder if someone at WVEC 13 (local tv station) read this open letter from Stephen Johnson (which gordon_r_d recently linked to).
September: Had a thought this morning: Along with (or instead of) donating to your favorite charity of choice for Katrina relief, Write to the your Representative and Senators, and ask them to formally reprimand President Bush for his lack of leadership in this crisis.
October: Winters here have always been a bother for me because I can't put my own shoes on, so I've spent much of my winters barefoot (It's not as bad as it would've been, if I'd stayed in New York, certainly, but still).
November: Started around 1:30 am this morning, and got to 697 before I crashed out at 3 am.
December: I was originally thinking this would be a massively long entry full of details and my emotional responses to said details. (Another Friends-Locked post).
