a tidbit for
snowgrouse

snowgrouse requested a filk about the Doctor's spectacles (the things he wears on his face, not the mad antics he engages in to make a spectacle of himself).
I haven't got the whole song, yet, but I have an idea. I was thinking of writing a riff on the American saying: "Boys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses." And while I don't know what the heck I'll say about the Doctor's specs, in the verses, I think the chorus came to me this morning:
Oh, there once was a Timelord from Gally
Who drew squees from both Mary and Sally
But they both liked it best
When he put on his specs.
Oh, that wonderful Timelord from Gally.
