Okay, so as I understand it (and the way it's always worked in the past), if you're the only person who has a particular interest listed on your profile page, it shows up in ordinary black text, like text of this here journal entry.

But if there are other people out there who share that interest, it shows up as a blue clicky (or, the term that I like: "Blickie"), like this: doctor who, so you can meet other people who like the same thing you do. Right? Right.

So, what's up with this interest I just added today: sun goddesses?

Weird...

[ETA: how disturbing is it, do you think, that there are 483 individual LiveJournal users that list Doctor Who as an interest, and 450 communities? That's almost a one to one ratio. :::Shakes head::: I still love (most of) my fandom, though]

Sometimes LJ gets confused about how many people have an interest listed... Some people probaby had it on their interests list previously and LJ didn't update it correctly when they deleted it.

Yes, what abates said above, often if people have previously had something listed then it carries on being underlined even if no more:)

Hmmm... I wondered if it was something like that.

But then, that raises the question: Why would any person, once they've been interested in sun goddesses lose that interest?

I. Mean. They're Sun. Goddesses! ;-)
