I'm still rolling up a moderately steep learning curve with my new computer, so I haven't put all my naarts in the proper reply places for the last week, yet. But my entire gallery is Ri'Cheer.

It is so hard to pick an absolute favorite, but I am particularly proud of Day 22's: both because of the artistic effort (I'm particularly pleased with the shading under the hair) and because I was able to see my own face with the generosity I'm willing to grant to others, which is something I've been having trouble with for a while now. Day 2 (the Ode to Joy one) is a very close second.

And I really want to say again how much I've loved this last month; it's really helped me rediscover who I am, and help keep me sane through a very hard time. It has reminded me how much I love art, and also re-inspired me to work on my craft, and maybe even use my artistic talents in concert with my writing.

I also think that NaArMaMo is better than NaNoWriMo, because you're not saddled with a single idea for the whole month; if an idea turns out to be not as shiny as it first appeared, you have the freedom to drop it and try something else.

I've also discovered a private rule for NaArMaMo, related to this: let previous naarts lie behind you, and look ahead; never try to go back and "fix" something you're not quite happy with.
