okay, so -- this new computer and monitor....

So I'm loving this shiny new everything, but -- the resolution is so high that the fonts on LJ are now teensy-tiny (I had my lj customized to show Garamond at 14pt size, but it looked more like 2pt). I know I can set IE to show me the font bigger, but I didn't really want to run both IE and aol at the same time, especially since it only my LJ that I was having trouble reading ("Only LJ" she says -- huh!). So I went back and changed my settings to 36pt (Now, it looks like a normal 10).

So -- tell me: did it look tiny to all of you, too? Or did it always look normal, and now it looks giant?

If it's the latter, I'll change it back, and go ahead and use IE...

ETA: Oh, and about restocking my software for this thing: my aide tells me that Google has a new word processing program out there, that's supposedly comparible to Microsoft's? Do any of you guys know about that?
