Told you I was going to use that first picture again. The font is HM Phonetic, by the way. I could have sworn I was allowed to use it in all font sizes (at least, that's what I remember)*, but the largest it would give me is 14 point; I wanted to use 24 point, at least. But oh well ... working within the the limits of your materials and time is all part of the creative process, isn't it?


*I'm probably remembering when I had an earlier version of Windows... sigh...

I recognised your drawing immediately even though it now looks more like a shell, or something else spirally, than an eye.

hm. Still looks like an eye, to me,* but that's probably because I remember drawing it, though I can see the shellness of it, now that you mention it.

But yeah, it's interesting how our perceptions change when we change the reference points, like highlight and shadow.

*except when it looks like a chicken's head...
