(Just for the record: I'm opposed to bartering brides [& husbands], but just for the sake of this thought-experiment: this is for introducing your true self to a stranger, where you actually care if they know and apreiciate your deep self -- not the just the shiny surface you show the general public)
Your family has set up an arranged marriage for you.* Your new spouse will be arriving by airplane in a couple months. For the sake of propriety, torrid love letters and long-distance phone calls are out, but you're allowed to ship a package to introduce yourself, and the kind of person you are, including:

[eta: If I had the tools, and the skills to use them, I would so make a Doctor Who vid with Swimming to the Other Side as the music track. Really. Can I make that a challenge for vid makers out there? I'll send you some homemade, customized to your taste, hot cocoa mix as payment....

Don't know who, exactly, but it probably would have been someone she would have met doing volunteer work...
