Two... erm... and a half ... things,

One. I found a usb port in the front of the computer. It wasn't where it showed on the manual, but it's there. So yay.

...and a half. Going back to the hp site, I found a set of common troubleshooting questions. And one of them was "What do I do when my installation stops while searching for the printer?" So also yay (of course, they advise you to print out the instructions, which is kind of hard to do if you're having trouble setting up your printer. Luckily, I have pens and paper, and can read my own handwriting most of the time).

Two. I need another link calapine's DW vid "What about Everything?" (okay, I don't need it, I just want it very much), and I can't remember when she first posted it. A little help? Thanks!

Is there a way to download a vid from youtube? 'Cause I think I downloaded it from Yousendit before... and as I'm on dialup, it takes a good half hour evertime I want to watch a three minute song...

Not from YouTube, so far as I know. The whole point is it's all streaming.

There's several ways of doing it, including a nice Firefox extension, just google for YouTube video downloader.

The YouSendIt link seems to have expired, but the megaupload one is still there at http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3MSK0R7T it does have an annoying popup ad or two though.

I was actually going to ask if your computer had USB ports on the front since both our desktops do.

Ahh... that's why I can't see anything from megaupload; I'll have to turn off my popup blocker, probably. :-/

Well, apparently, there are no popups being blocked. But whenever I click on megaupload, all I get is an ad telling me how great megaupload is, and how to upload something... not how to view anything... :-/

So far, it appears to be working... 9% downloaded, with z little over an hour to go... That's workable. Now, I'll just make another cuppa cocoa/coffee, and try to figure out these hp instructions... (there seems to be a common problem unique to the 5150 model, which is the model I have)
