capri0mni | It's Monday. So it's Gl'art Day!

My conscience has been yelling at me, because I really should be working on illustrations for the story I was commissioned to do back this summer (I posted a rough draft of it here), but every time I started, I got illustrator's block. I don't think of myself as an illustrator (which is actually quite precise work, to do it right), but the grandmother's friend dropped out on her in the last minute. This time, I will be charging extra, for the extra work.

So last night, about 10, I sat down and did another scribble person, just to loosen myself up, and that's her, above. I thought I'd also use the opportunity to practice my shading. .... and sigh, the horizontal striping seems to be getting worse. When I do sit down to do those illustrations, I'll have to figure out how to get rid of them...
