capri0mniI just got a call from my cousin Toni (about an hour ago, been trying to update since then). Father has had another heart attack. He's now in the hospital, again, instead of the nursing home, and his doctor has called her down there to sign a "Do Not Resuscitate Order." The doctor said he is not doing well. He's still alive (as far as I know), as I write this, but I don't think he has long to live.
Sigh.
[Edited To Add at 10:00 pm: I just got off the phone with Toni. He is still alive, and resting comfortably, though he's very weak (sleeping, mostly, I think) and his blood pressure is very low. She is also concerned, because everything he had, including his wallet (with credit cards and checkbook) is still at the nursing home. She will go by there tomorrow, and see if she can get them back. I don't think the staff. there, from what I've seen of them, would steal it, but *fingers crossed*]

So I am going to log off, now, and try to work on my NaNoWriMo novel, if only to keep my brain occupied while keeping the phonelines free.
