Got you package, today,

gordon_r_d! Smooches and huggles! It had actually arrived on the 23rd, but I couldn't get to the door before the postman took it back to the post office (wouldn't fit in my mailbox). Audrey, my aide, went down there and had words with them, so he brought it back and waited for me, this time.

Everything looks wonderful! The Broons and Oor Wullie, especially. I haven't looked at the dvds, yet (kinda hard to carry everything into the office while I'm in the manual chair*), but I gave the wee snowman a huggle and a kiss on the nose. Consider that from me to you...

Thank you so much for the loverly card (It, too, had arrived much earlier, but had slipped to the floor where I couldn't reach it, so it wasn't until Audrey could pick it up that I got a chance to read it). I won't ask what the wishes were for... I'll be pleasantly surprised when they come true.

*went down to the Wheelchair place for an eval on a new chair, this morning, but: a) the eval specialist didn't realize I wouldn't be in the chair, b) the computer was down, so they couldn't pull up my file from when I bought it, c) I couldn't remember, off the top of my head, my chair's make or model number (if I had known, ahead of time, that the computer system had glitches, I would have made it a point to look for it and either write it down, or remember it), and d) she didn't even want to discuss my needs in a new chair until she knew for sure what it's replacing. So she'll make a housecall on Friday, and we'll do the eval here (since the chair is stuck in the middle of my great room).
