Ratings were low, so it got yanked. There's... possibilities that it'll end up airing it's last... 7 episodes or so, at some time. Though it's also possible they might not give it another shot.

The hiatus was planned a long time ago, although it did get moved up a week early, which alarmed fans. Still, as you say, whether or not it comes back again is up in the air. You can read all the chest-beating, garment-rending, and critic-hating details over on studio_60.

Sigh.... I'm not sure I want read all that angst. I just prefer Sorkin's fare to yet another crime-based drama.


... And I thought the critics liked it.
