capri0mniTonight, on PBS, on Scientific American Frontiers the focus was on all the new things hot new inventers were inventing, like a laser machine that would cut out all the parts needed to build your own bicycles, and the like -- so that you would just say, buy a camera online, and have it mailed to you -- you could download a camera... stuff like that.
Supposedly, they have the different segments online, so you can watch them that way, but every time I put my mouse in that region of the screen, I get a "script error" pop-up.
Grr!

gordon_r_d, if you can get it to work, check out the segment on "Toy Symphony"... as I was watching it, I kept thinking: "oooh, Shiny!!! Gordon would have a blast with those Beat Bugs!" (so would I, as a matter of fact... ;-})
Unfortunately (but very predictibly), the homepage of the inventor featured in "Toy Symphony" is down due to too much web traffic... but I will definitely try again (maybe next week, when it's no longer being highlighted....
