There were several moments this weekend where I had to remind myself he's not alive, anymore...

No pinpointable triggers, that I can recall. Just random flashes through my brain.

For nearly two years after my mother's death, I'd be doing something and I'd think, "I must tell mum about this!" Then I'd remember and feel grief again. It took a long time for me to stop doing that but I sort of miss it now, although not as much as I miss being able to share all those little moments with my mum.

Yeah. I went through that with my Mom's death, seventeen years ago... Now, part of the shock is when I realize they're both gone...
