Or maybe not: I did go Google-ing, and Kurai is a demon character from this Anime story: Angel Sancunctuary (http://www.centralparkmedia.com/angel/). From the synopsis on the site, and character discriptions, it seems to be a real fire-and-brimstone, Angels and Demons battling against God quasi-Biblical affair -- with a little bit of Brother/Sister incest thrown in...
Not exactly my cup of tea...

Date: 2003-04-19 12:19 pm (UTC)Definitely not my thing either...sadly a lot of people imagine *all* anime is like that. Those are the people I show Castle Of Cagliostro and other fun stuff to. The second big anime release on video over here was Legend Of The Overfiend which sadly shows most of the excesses of anime and it was (a) promptly denounced along with all other anime as filth (b) lots of teenage boys bought it and (c) because lots of teneage boys bought it, Manga Video released more like it...
...ooh, bit of a rant there. :)
(I finally forgave Manga Video when they released several Lupin 3rd films, including Cagliostro...)
